Description:

We are currently seeking to expand our Creative Design and Development team. As a member of our team you will assist in the development of conceptual and visual designs for a wide variety of projects - from conception to completion. Working with other members of GEVC Interactive you will help to create unique and innovative solutions to our clients varied needs. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a highly dynamic and innovative work environment and have:
  • A keen familiarity with Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator and Flash;
  • A working knowledge and understanding of HTML and web design constraints.
In addition candidates should:
  • Have excellent client and team communication skills;
  • Possess strong listening and presentation skills;
  • Be comfortable working in a variety of styles and constantly be looking for new ideas and inspirations;
  • Be fast, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under exacting conditions and deadlines.

Job Summary:

As a member of our Creative Design and Development team your primary responsibilities will include the:
  • Design of interface mockups and interactive page layouts;
  • Retouching and enhancing photographs elements;
  • Developing simulations and animations;
  • Developing User Interfaces and interactive components using various technologies including Flash / HTML / CSS.
A university degree, college diploma or equivalent experience in visual design is desirable. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
